Recipes for Daily Health & Longevity

Power 4 Protein Powder

  • 2 Cups Raw Almonds ( not roasted or salted)
  • 1 Cup Raw Pistachios 
  • 1/4 Cup Cardamon Seeds or 1/8 Cup Cardamon Powder
  • 1 Tsp Saffron 

Blend all ingredients to a powder form. Don't worry if some chunks are left behind.

Add 3-4 spoonfuls into a dairy or non dairy beverage or a bowl of yogurt on a daily basis.  Save the rest of the mix in a glass jar so you don't have to make it fresh every morning. 

I could write a book on the benefits of what these four ingredients does for your body if consumed on a daily basis. I'll provide some key benefits. Aids in digestion, detoxifies the body, improves oral health, aids in diabetes treatment, helps to cope with depression, lowers cholesterol levels, enhances heart health, lowers blood pressure, and improves sexual health. This power foursome is rich in healthy fats, fiber, protein, vitamin E, magnesium, potassium, and Vitamin B6. Saffron, the world's most expensive spice, is a powerful antioxident just on its own. The price tag is high but a little bit goes a long way. Over the past several years more research has begun to support saffron's far reaching health benefits. Saffron offers benefits for depression, anxiety, PMS, postmenapausal symtoms, and even Alzheimer's . Also helps to alleviate brain fog and headaches. You only need to consume 10-15 saffron strands a day. DO NOT EXCEED 15 strands on a daily basis!

morning elixir

Good Morning Elixir for All Day Gut Health

  • 5 one-inch pieces of fresh ginger grated
  • 2-3 one-inch pieces of fresh tumeric grated
  • 4 lemons cut into quarters
  • Honey to be added on a daily basis according to your personal sweetness preference
  • 2 6-quart pots. One to cook the mixture and one for the strained mixture. 

Fill up a 6-quart pot of water 1/2 way leaving room to boil the ingredients and pressure building. Add your grated ginger and tumeric into the pot. Peel and toss the outer yellow skin of the lemon quarters. Squeeze the juice of each lemon quarter into the pot and toss the lemon into the pot. I like getting the full benefit of the whole lemon, both the juice and the pith ( the white stuff). Cover and let it cook/boil for 10 minutes. After it cools down, strain the elixir into the other pot. Save your elixir in a glass jar and refrigerate. Enjoy 6-8 ounces warmed every morning with a spoonful of honey* before consuming any other food. Very important that you consume in morning before starting your day. Of course you should already be drinking 1-2 glasses of still water at room temp or warm as soon as you wake.
